Dear Family Members and Friends,
We are so excited to host the 36th Annual Hansie Solomon Family Reunion in Sarasota, Florida and the 1st reunion following the election of our first African American President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, whose theme throughout this election was YES WE CAN!
We, (Jo Ann Ford, Rasool Jackson, Bonita Pratt McKoy, Annie Little, Marcus, Gabby, Marcus II, Briaunna and Brooklyn Pratt) your Florida Committee, are all looking forward to and confident that “Yes, We Can” too, make this one of the most memorable experiences in our Reunion history. This momentous celebration will occur at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota on Sarasota Bay, 1000 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236-US, Thursday, July 30 – Sunday, August 2, 2009. The Resort has just undergone a $26 million renovation and is gorgeous with a luxurious swimming pool and many ways to just kick back and relax if you so choose. You may want to add extra days and make this a long vacation.
You can start by making your reservations now! Call the Hyatt Worldwide Reservation Center at 800-233-1234. Provide our Group name (Hansie Solomon Family Reunion) and Dates of Stay. For your convenience, we have the option of staying 2 days prior to the reunion and 2 days after the reunion at the group rate of $129.00 per night. On- line bookings are fast and easy. Visit www.sarasota.hyatt.com then simply enter your dates and group number (which is G-HANS) in the Group/Contract # field. PLEASE make your reservations EARLY (by June 1st)! All rooms have a beautiful view. The most spectacular view is Bayside which you can ask for when you reserve early.

The weekend rate for adults is $99.00 per person; children 5 to 12 years of age $50.00; children under 5 free.
